Immunohistochemical staining on decellularized and native liver tissues for biglycan, and on decellularized and native kidney tissues for cathepsin Z. The specific detection of biglycan was found to be ubiquitous in the ECM of liver tissues, while cathepsin Z staining was observed in a spot-like pattern in the ECM of kidney tissues.
